Berthing at St Peter's Marina

The Marina welcomes visitors and offers top class facilities to yachts and power boats in this fabulous city centre Marina. Each pontoon has a water and electricity supply and there are excellent showers and toilets in the Marina building itself. There is constant 24 hour video surveillance on site.. St Peters retains a minimum depth in excess of 2 meters within the marina  and a traffic light system ensures vessels have continuity whilst entering or or leaving. The largest vessell that can be berthed is 120ft. Normal berths range from 6mtrs to 20mtrs but the larger berths are in short supply and there is a width restriction of 28ft at the entrance. Please phone ahead on 0191 265 4472 to book your stay. Unfortunately there are no hard standing facilities.

The Marina has its own 3 tonne crane which can lift most sports boats and small yachts and is also ideal for mast stepping and engine removal.The cranage rates are very competitive and a boat valeting and anti- fouling service is also offered and fuel is dispensed on the river.

Storrar and Trident Marine are nearby and offer chandlery for the majority of your needs and everything for your boat from compasses to clothing. A rigging and sail repair service is offered by both companies.St Peters yacht sales offer a comprehensive new and used boat sales facility and has an active brokerage.

There is an excellent and busy Bar and restuarant the "Bascule" on site.For all other needs within a mile from St Peters Marina you will find shops, restaurants and pubs etc in the city centre. There is a very regular bus service to the city and Taxis abound.Car hire can be arranged locally.
